Textile presents at first ever “AI and IPFS Summit” in China

Plus a demo of the latest Textile Photos app in action

On August 19, 2018, Ink Planet, IPFS.fund and IPFS.cn jointly held the first ever “AI and IPFS Summit” to explore the possibility and future of combining artificial intelligence with IPFS… and Textile was there, virtually.

Andrew presented an overview of Textile, Textile Photos, and our vision for a decentralized mobile web, in a video that was shown at the event (with translators on hand to translate for the audience). The video is now getting Chinese subtitles added, and should be made available on IPFS.first soon. In the mean time, here’s the original (english) version for your viewing pleasure.

In the presentation Andrew talks about Textile’s mission to reinvent our mobile experiences in a decentralized and secure way. He also gives an awesome demo of Textile Photos in action. Along the way, Andrew explains some of the technology that drives the encryption, communication, and functionality of Textile Photos.
